Butterfly Wing Artwork to Help with AIDS in Africa

The Washington International AIDS Foundation is selling artwork through our gallery to benefit AIDS research and medicine for Africa.  The artwork is made from Butterfly wings from a Butterfly farm in the Congo.  The farm raises the butterflies through their lifespan, and at their death the wings are harvested for art and their bodies are fed to the fish.  The artist of these particular works lives here in DC working for the Foundation.  Smaller works sell for $175.00 and the larger abstract works sell for $300.00 each.  Payment is taken in cash or check only so that the full amount can go to the charity.  Framing the works can be paid for separately.
